The Red Oak High Lady Hawks softball team honored their Senior Players on Friday, April 21. With the chance of rain in the forecast, the varsity game was moved up in order to get Senior Night festivities in.

The Lady Hawks hosted Mansfield Legacy, who had already secured a playoff spot, while the Lady Hawks were playing for pride. The Lady Hawks gave up 8 quick runs by the end of the 2nd inning, but they did slow down Legacy for the rest of the game. In the end though, the Lady Hawks couldn’t generate runs against Legacy fell 9-0.

The Lady Hawks went 3-13 in district play this season.

In between the varsity and JV games, the four Seniors were each introduced and escorted to home plate by parents, family and friends for a photo, and all four players and both coaches gathered at the pitcher’s mound for one last group photo.
